Export GPS data as GPX

To convert your GPS tracks to GPX data files you can use freely available software (Open Source) or the commercial software (Garmin MapSource) that came with your GPS device.

Integrate personal photos

Under ?Personal Tours? (right-click) you can to create your own tours, POIs (Points Of Interest) and integrate personal photos in jpg or png format.
To export images directly from the program use the screenshot function from Windows. With the keyboard press the ?Print page? button or the keyboard combination ?ALT+Print? to copy the actual program view to the Windows clipboard. Open a standard image processing program (XnView, Irfan, Paint etc.) and paste the information from the clipboard in the new, empty workspace. With the keyboard press ?CTRL+V?.

Create personal tours and POIs

Under ?Personal Tours? right-click the mouse to open the context menu and select ?Add Tour?. In the proceeding window you will need to enter the tour name and confirm by clicking ?OK?. Now you are in editor mode (the mouse cursor has changed) and you can choose the starting point for your tour. Simply click the mouse to create your waypoints (here called support points), when your tour is complete simply double click the mouse. The individual support points can be edited (i.e. shifted or deleted) later. In the lower left portion of the screen you will find additional tips to creating personal tours. In addition to tours you can also create so called POIs (Points Of Interest).

DVD #2 requires a stand-alone application that must be installed before use. Therefore, you have to execute the Setup.exe and follow the installation instructions. After a successful installation the King Ludwig DVD #2 entry will appear in the Start/Programs menu. When you start this part of the overall product you will initiate the interactive and virtual tour through King Ludwig?s architectural wonders.

The following castles and rooms can be virtually toured:

-          Castle Neuschwanstein: study, throne room, knight?s bath

-          Park Linderhof: Moorish Kiosk (exterior)

-          King?s House on the Schachen: Turkish Hall

-          Castle Falkenstein: Bed-chamber

-          Chinese Summer Palace (exterior)
